Responsibilities
o Assessments
o Training and education of family members
o Medication administration
o Administration of prescribed treatments and therapies
o Communication with other members of the patients' multidisciplinary team
o Supply management
o Emergency management
Qualifications
o A minimum of one year of nursing experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN
o A valid North Carolina (or compact state) nursing license in good standing
o Current CPR certification
o Good organizational and communication skills
Education
o Pediatric experience is helpful, but not a must
o Excellent pediatric training is available
